Veterinary Assistant

Brianna’s journey in the animal field began early, fueled by a childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science for Pre-Veterinary Medicine from Sam Houston State University, she continues to work towards her DVM while enriching the lives of animals at Forest Crossing. Brianna’s love extends to her own menagerie: Pepe, a 7-year-old rat terrier mix with a sassy streak; Asta and Jack, two-year-old chihuahua-maltese mixes who are super sweet (though Jack is particularly vocal); Mr. Kat, a 2-3-year-old polydactyl Manx cat who became a foster fail after bonding with Asta and Jack; and Oswald and Kurtis, nearly 4-month-old New Zealand White bunnies. When she’s not tending to her pets, Brianna enjoys gardening, crocheting, taking her dogs on runs, and spending time with her family, often helping them with their FFA animals.
